Introduction

This crock pot meal of baked chicken in a creamy onion sauce is fast, easy to prepare and tastes great.

Ingredients

    4 chicken breast halves 
    1 12 oz can of low fat cream of mushroom soup 
    1/2 cup fat free sour cream 
    1 1/2 cups water1 packet of onion soup mix

Directions

Place thawed chicken into crock pot or slow cooker. In a medium bowl, mix all the other ingredients together. Pour mixture of chicken and cover. Cook at low setting 6-8 hours or higher setting for 4-6 hours.

Notes: This has got to be one of the easiest meals to put together and has become a familyfavorite. It's very creamy and goes well with wild rice or potatoes. The recipe doubles nicely for larger servings.

Introduction

Traditional, easy meal all in one pot!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 lb chuck roast
    1 TB salt
    1 TB black pepper
    1 TB Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
    1 TB garlic powder
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and chunked
    4 medium carrots, peeled and chunked
    1 large white onion, coarsely chopped
    1/4 head of green cabbage
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup worcestershire sauce

Directions

Mix all seasonings together in small bowl, and rub on all sides of pot roast. Put pot roast in crock pot on HIGH. Drop in potatoes and carrots, water, and worcestershire sauce. Cover the crock pot and leave on for 5 hrs.

After 5 hrs, put in the onion, celery, and cabbage. Cook one more hour on LOW.

Serve with vegetables as a complete meal, or combine with rice if you'd like. You can use the liquid from the crock pot as an au jus or as the base for a brown gravy.
