Jamming with Jamberry

Tired of messy nail polish?

Tired of accidentally knocking it over and making a mess (that maybe just me :) )

I got the privilege to try Jamberry Nail Shields by Becky.

I can not grow my finger nails to save my life.  Mostly because I tend to bite them or clip them.  I know. If I want nails I have to buy them.  Which is very costly. Very.

I don't do nail polish- well- I don't do it well lol.

I'm too impatient- I can't wait for it to dry and I always make a mess and smear it.

This is where Jamberry is a life saver.  I will put this disclosure out there- I do not own a nail file, I can't stand to use them, so my attempt did not turn out as well as yours will.

But still- I think they are lovely.

The application process is quick and easy and the most high tech gadget you need is a hair dryer.  I've posted pictures below.

Very sweet note from Becky with the samples.  Thanks Becky!

Very easy and straight forward application and removal instructions.  Step by step and very easy to follow.

Okay, these are some cute samples. Let's see how far you can get with one!

First nail down.

It literally took me about a minute.

Like I said- I don't own a nail file so I can't do the fine cleaning up of the sides like I should be able to but still, I am please with how these came out in the (maybe) 5 minutes it took me to apply them.  One nail shield was enough for me to complete all four nails.  I have been told by friends who have tried them that they last anywhere from 2-3 weeks or longer depending on how well you apply them.

Here are the nail shields I will be trying next!

Coffee Snob

There is a coffee place in town called Coffee Waves...for MONTHS all I heard was "Coffee Waves, Coffee Waves, yayaya...." now me...I've been a DEVOTED Starbucks fan for...well.....ever....the only thing that can make me NOT go to Starbucks is one of two things.

1. My bestie Heather making me coffee in the mornings (she's the bomb and she's usually in her skivs so win win)

and

2. I'm broke- cause face it. Starbucks is NOT cheap. In the lease. So I look for ways to EARN Starbucks Gift Cards for FREE online. I do this on several sites because all it takes is a bit of my time and I get to reap the steaming white mocha rewards. Venti please. Extra whip.

How do i get starbucks gift card you make ask? One site and my current favorite is InstaGC.  Seriously wicked easy and not like most sites where you have to do soooooo many things to earn even a point. You get points for listening to the radio. The radio. Yeah. Just tune into their station and let the music soothe your ragged soul..... or distract you from working in my case.

So what are you waiting for? Hope on over. Sign up. Remember to confirm your email and start earning some serious points.

Don't like Starbucks? That's fine! That have a ton of vendors such as Amazon.com, Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle....etc....its' easy to pick your poison!

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Pepper Jack Cheese and Spinach

Perfect for low carb, pair this with a salad and your have a great low carb meal!

Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded (you can use up to 6 oz)
1 c frozen spinach, thawed and drained (you can also use fresh cooked spinach)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp breadcrumbs (I use Italian style)
Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Lots of toothpicks

Directions

Preheat oven to 180 (350 degreesf ).

Flatten the chicken to 1/4-inch thickness.

In a medium bowl, combine the pepper jack cheese, spinach, salt and pepper.

Combine the Cajun seasoning and breadcrumbs together in a small bowl.

Spoon about 1/4 c of the spinach mixture onto each chicken breast. Roll each chicken breast tightly and fasten the seams with several toothpicks. This part requires a tiny bit of skill and I typically use about 8 toothpicks in each roll to ensure none of the filling seeps out. Be sure to count how many total toothpicks were used!

Brush each chicken breast with the olive oil. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning mixture evenly over all. Sprinkle any remaining spinach and cheese on top of chicken (optional).

Place the chicken seam-side up onto a tin foil-lined baking sheet (for easy cleanup). Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

Remove the toothpicks before serving. Count to make sure you have removed every last toothpick. Serve whole or slice into medallians

Teething Cream/Toothache Pain Reliever

Ingredients:
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup food grade cocoa butter
12 drops clove essential oil (this is not safe during pregnancy as it causes contractions)

Add your coconut oil and cocoa butter to a small sauce pan, heat on low until they melt. Add clove oil and stir well.
Next pour mixture into a glass container, place in fridge and allow to cool completely. Once cooled, it should be in solid form. Apply a tiny amount onto baby’s gums, or to your tooth and feel the pain disappear.
